Students squirm in their seats on a Friday morning as my Health teacher starts talking about reproduction. No one wants to learn about the female or male reproductive system. I understand, but I’m not there. I am the only one who doesn’t react or squirm or look away. Why talk about new life when it can be ripped from you so quickly? I got up from my seat and left but no one saw me. No one cared because I wasn't there. I haven’t been to class since Wednesday but that wasn’t my choice. The car made my choice.
