New Paths
Indifference is the snow
Fresh powder frosting over sharp metal edges
The skis seamlessly slice through untouched white.
The slope is like a blank canvas — anticipating more adventures to paint its picture
Run after run each imprinting new piercing spirals
Unpredictable moguls periodically appear like mini mountains
They fear an abrupt tumble — but an easy recovery reassures them
Why?
The skis guide through uninterrupted
Snow continuously falling —
Sealing the newly created trails like cement to a pothole.
