The darkness surges through, clouding our thoughts, we cannot think right, We battle ourselves, in our own heads, hidden behind a smile; a hidden disease brushed off as feeling down or lazy. We wish while we wait, waiting for that darkness to fade away. Darkness swallows us whole, drowning us in a bottomless pit. Black nothingness gets stuck under our nails as we try to claw our way out. There is no one at the top to help us, no one to save us. We are alone.
