As Loud As A Whisper

Walking past, my hand grazes

your soft, fiery skin.

Colors explode across my vision

a sea of vibrancy

threatening to sweep me away.

Glass shatters,

fragmented shards

soaring towards my body.

The impact — magnificent in itself —

would surely be strong enough

to fracture my bones

into nothing but a fine dust.

Universes are born.

Universes collapse.

The world itself implodes into an icy hot abyss —

creating an open void,

where you hand once met

mine.
