The Scapegoat

I take the blame for others. They call me when they’re angry about issues in their lives. Money, relationships, failures, you name it. They call me when they want to feel a sense of relief, to remove the burden of fault from their shoulders. I require a rather large payment from my clients, as the removal of that burden doesn’t come cheap. And besides, they always come back. You see, I cannot make a client’s problem disappear completely. The most I can do is delay it for a while before it returns. And when it returns, the price goes up.
