The Guy Behind the Glass
Everyday you stand in front of me observing your blue ocean eyes or brown curly hair in my smooth reflective surface. You’re not always happy with what I show because all you see are the small bumps and scars that seem to reflect off of me. You walk away with a frown on your face as I remain hung on your plain black wall forever trapped behind the glass wishing I could see more than what's on the surface. Because I wish you realized that the image you see when you look at me is not worth nearly as much as the image I can’t see on the inside.
