I don't love the way we used to love anymore So i untwisted you from my blood red arteries, Disconnecting you from the intricate passage to my heart. But sometimes i remember your Infatuation with the leaves And how you breathed green in Whenever possible And how juniper flowed from each step you took And it's then that my heart stops. Now, broken branches block access To lanes we used to frequent. Context becomes convoluted Cluttering our old ecosystem. But when feelings fade Clarity allows closure And thank God for closure.
