The branch fell to the ground. piles of leaves surrounding it– dandelion yellow, pumpkin orange barn red leaves. It fell mid fall. The wind makes the leaves move. They sway from side to side. It’s not heavy, yet not light. The brown blends in with the dirt. The crack in the forest is silent.
