Granulated latitude/longitude

I want to know where you have been,

Where you have journeyed from.

My shoes detect your past location,

As I walk in your remaining footprints.

Whether these footprints are in mud or made

Of conglomerate rock and sediment,

Every granule has history.

And the earth's crust has been compacted

Into one jumble of stories

As we impact eachother.
