Pallor

I imagine the dress shirts flying up in the air, creating a crescent of colors. A canvas of coral pink and shades of scarlet. The colors, leaping to and fro, warm my heart. And when the colors fall down, I realize that these pigments of passion are really just figments of my imagination. The colors turn to shades. There is no one who will wear the hue of my heart. As I blend into reality, the mansion of my dreams becomes smaller in the growing distance of the clear shore. All I am left with is a flicker of green.
