Four legs; a tail; brown hair

Eyes that warm your heart

A slight tilt of the head; ears perched up.

Long body; curvy spine; sitting peacefully

A touch of sunlight through the door,

giving a shine to his eyes.

Then, a puppy. Now grown.

Named for a Shakespearean play,

No longer as youthful as he used to be.

Once excited and joyful,

Eager to see the world through his little eyes,

Now he sits calmly, alone with his thoughts.
