Pain in my Back

I have pain in my back.

It shoots from the first vertebrae of my spine and into my soul. This ache twinges from the sunrise, through dawn, and passes after the sunset to repeat when the sky awakens once again with the light of a new day. Only the light is covered by clouds and all I can see is a lightning bolt, sparking through the darkness. The booming thunder causes the world to shake. It does not rain everywhere all the time. The storms are localized and drift from one area to the next. Hurt and despair eventually pass, so does the weather. Although the lightning no longer flashes the sky and instead it is the luminescence of the hot ultraviolet rays, devastation from the storm still peaks out and the pain in my back still twinges from the sunrise, through dawn, and passes after the sunset to repeat when the sky awakens once again with the light of a new day.
