We argued about it for hours and hours before realizing that neither of us, alone, were completely right or wrong. Our arguments were particles in a hadron collider that had just collided. We learned from their collisions and, from their pieces we found a solution. To some people it would seem that what we did for those hours was utterly useless and far less productive, than if we had done it alone. But what really happened, what we both know truly happened, is that in that hour we had made more progress “discussing” than we would have ever made alone.
