Flaming Fire
Others say I am destruction, but all I want to do is play. Confusion spreads through me as some cower at the sight of me untamed. Others find peace in my flames. Trying to control me, they flood me until all they see is smoke— all they smell is ash. Casting me outside their group, wavering confidence, watching eyes, waiting to see me disappear. Homey cages seek me out, stroking my limbs. Waiting, and waiting, and waiting, for me to explode, finding bliss while I burn.
