Senior Max Morris has an impressive portfolio, in which his preference for colored pencil is apparent. He took AP Drawing and Painting his junior year, and is currently enrolled in Art Portfolio. Max describes his love of art as stemming from the fact that you have the ability to transform a blank sheet of paper to virtually anything, with just a bit of hardwork and creative vision. An admirer of Jean Basquiat's work, Max comments on his ability to seemlessly incoporate pop art and a contemporary style into his life drawings. Of his own work, Max is particularly proud of a piece titled "Bloom" in which he contrats the softness of flowers with the lifelike hardness of metal.
